Here’s what a typical 2-hour workshop looks like:
Introduction to Perfume & Scent Families
We begin by introducing students to the basics of perfumery: how perfumes are structured, what top/middle/base notes mean, and how different scent families (floral, woody, fresh, amber, etc.) create emotional responses. Here, students will explore the theory and background of perfumery in a way that’s both engaging and enjoyable, blending knowledge with curiosity and a touch of fun.
Scent Exploration
Students then get hands-on, smelling a curated collection with around 30 scents at NOTE – The Scent Lab. This moment is always full of laughter, surprise, and conversation as everyone reacts differently to each scent and has different preferences.
Naming & Bottling Their Creation
Each student gets to name their perfume, pour it into a glass bottle, and take it home — a unique, personal souvenir they’ll remember far beyond the workshop. Give your story a name.
